The entire incident was captured on CCTV, and the distressing video is now circulating on social media platforms. The footage shows a man attempting to cross the road when he was struck by a truck, suspected to have emerged from a nearby petrol pump.

Victim Identified as Shamim Khan

The victim has been identified as Shamim Khan, a resident of Asha Kheda. The unfortunate accident occurred at the Asha Kheda Petrol Pump, located in the jurisdiction of Sohramau Police Station. The nearby CCTV camera recorded the entire sequence of events.

Fog Hampers Visibility during the Incident

The incident took place in the morning hours, with reduced visibility due to the prevailing winter fog. In the video, it is evident that two individuals were attempting to cross the road. While one person noticed the approaching truck and halted, Shamim Khan continued to traverse, ultimately being struck by the vehicle in the middle of the road.
