WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Two Warrington Township men have been charged with sexual abuse of children (possession of child pornography) and use of a communication device in separate cyber case investigations in the township.

Cyber Tip Leads to Arrest of Daniel Kevin Healey Jr.

On October 4, the Warrington Township Police Department’s criminal investigation division received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip alleged that a Pennsylvania resident, later identified as 23-year-old Daniel Kevin Healey Jr., was sending funds to a couple overseas who were sexually exploiting their four children via live stream.

Following the tip, a search warrant was obtained for Healey Jr.’s cellular telephone. During the search, more than 500 files of child sexual abuse material were discovered.

Collaborative Investigation and Arrest

Healey Jr. turned himself in to Warrington Police Detectives on January 5 and was subsequently arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman. He was released from custody on $100,000 unsecured bail.

The investigation into Healey Jr.’s case involved assistance from Homeland Security, Bucks County Detectives, Warwick Township Police, and the FBI’s Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory.

Lawrence Williams Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography

In a separate case, 70-year-old Lawrence Williams of Warrington was charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of use of a communication facility.

The investigation into Williams began on August 7 during undercover operations targeting the sharing of child pornography online. A computer displaying an IP address registered in Warrington Township was found to be downloading files containing child sexual abuse material.

Following the downloads, a search warrant was executed at the residence associated with the IP address. Analysis of the electronic devices uncovered additional files containing child sexual abuse material, leading to the identification of Lawrence Williams as the owner of the devices.

Arrest and Bail

Williams voluntarily surrendered to Warrington Police Detectives on January 4. He was processed on two counts of Sexual Abuse of Children (Possession of Child Pornography) and one count of Criminal Use of a Communication Facility.

Williams appeared before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman for his arraignment and was released on unsecured bail after meeting the bail conditions.

The investigation into Williams’ case involved collaboration between Homeland Security Investigations, Bucks County Detectives, New Britain Township Police Department, and the FBI’s Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory.
