Deadly Collision Between Truck and TSRTC Bus Leaves One Dead and Seven Injured in Nellore

NELLORE: A tragic collision between a truck and a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus on Sunday morning has resulted in the death of one person and left seven others injured. The incident occurred on the national highway at Mocherla in the Gudluru mandal of Nellore district.

The victim, identified as bus driver Vinod, lost his life in the early hours of the morning when a TSRTC bus traveling from Hyderabad to Tirupati collided with a truck. The collision caused severe injuries to seven other passengers, with some reported to be in critical condition.

The collision took place near Mocherla village and involved a luxury bus from Miryalaguda Depot and a truck carrying a load of grain. The impact of the collision resulted in the front part of the TSRTC bus being crushed.

Sub-inspector Prasad from Gudlur stated, “Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances leading to this tragic incident on the national highway.”

The seven injured passengers, three of whom are in critical condition, were immediately transferred to Nellore Apollo Hospital for medical attention.
