In a shocking development, Reedley police have announced the discovery of a third deceased individual at a residence, following the earlier finding of two bodies in the backyard on Saturday morning. The authorities are currently conducting an active search for a missing man who is considered to be at risk.

Reedley Police Chief, Joe Garza, revealed that officers were alerted to the scene after a family member reported signs of a burglary around 9 a.m. Subsequently, two bodies were found in the backyard, one identified as an elderly white male, and the other as a Mexican female adult.

Following an extensive search and investigation, law enforcement discovered a third body, described as that of a white adult male.

Investigators are currently withholding information regarding the identities of the deceased individuals as well as the cause of death.

However, authorities have confirmed that a crime has taken place, as signs of forced entry into the residence were found. Additionally, several missing weapons, the type of which have not been disclosed, were also discovered at the scene.

Martin Vasquez, uncle of the Mexican female adult found deceased, expressed his grief and confusion over the tragedy. He described his niece as someone who made significant contributions to the community, making it even more difficult to comprehend how such a senseless act could occur.

“Someone who is doing good for the community and all of a sudden, for someone to take their life away, you know, that’s someone’s aunt, someone’s sister, someone’s daughter, and that’s my niece,” Vasquez said.

Meanwhile, the Reedley Police Department has identified the missing individual as Matthew Bonds, a 43-year-old man. Officers have classified him as being at risk due to recent events and chronic health issues.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Matthew Bonds’ whereabouts or any details relating to the circumstances leading up to this tragic event to contact the Reedley Police Department immediately at (559) 637-4250.
