Arrest Made in London, KY: Farron A. Miller Apprehended for Multiple Offenses

LONDON, KY – In a recent incident on Friday, 5th January 2023 at around 9:17 P.M., Officer Mikey Ashurst successfully arrested Farron A. Miller, a 52-year-old resident of East Bernstadt, KY.

LONDON Police DepartmentWhile conducting his routine patrol, Officer Ashurst noticed a vehicle in front of him. As he ran the vehicle’s registration, the driver suddenly changed course upon realizing Officer Ashurst’s presence.

Officer Ashurst discovered that the vehicle had an expired registration and quickly turned around to locate it. Eventually, he spotted the vehicle parked in a random driveway. Officer Ashurst proceeded to conduct a traffic stop, and Miller, the driver, claimed he was heading to that particular address.

During the investigation, Officer Ashurst used a Ring Camera to communicate with the homeowner and confirmed that Miller did not have permission to be there.

Officer Ashurst detected a strong odor of Marijuana emanating from the vehicle as he approached. Further investigation revealed that Miller was not only under the influence but also had an active Parole Violation Warrant for his arrest.

Deputy Nate Bishop from the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office arrived to assist Officer Ashurst at the scene.

Multiple Charges Filed Against Farron Miller

Farron Miller is facing the following charges:

  • Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol – 3rd Offense (Aggravating Circumstance)
  • Operating on a Suspended or Revoked Operator’s License
  • No Registration Plates
  • Minor traffic-related offenses

Following his apprehension, Miller was transferred to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
