Tragic death of Jharkhand Student in Italy Sends Shockwaves

A young student hailing from West Singhbhum district in Jharkhand, India, has met an untimely demise under mysterious circumstances while pursuing his MBA studies in Italy. The unfortunate incident occurred on January 2, leaving the student, identified as Ram Raut, lifeless in his rented accommodation.

News of the shocking demise came to light when Raut’s concerned parents attempted to reach out to him to convey their New Year greetings. Alarmed by his lack of response, they decided to contact the owner of his rented dwelling, who delivered the devastating news that their beloved son had been discovered dead in the washroom of another residence.

Overwhelmed by grief, Raut’s grieving family has sought assistance from senior government officials and public representatives of Jharkhand to facilitate the repatriation of their deceased son’s body. Understanding the gravity of the situation, Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal of West Singhbhum has been apprised of Raut’s tragic passing. In turn, he has promptly relayed the information to the Home Department and the Migration cell of Jharkhand, urging them to take necessary action.
