According to a recent news release by the GPD, warrants have been issued for the arrest of Kelly Philander Webb, the prime suspect in these theft cases.

The incident occurred on the evening of December 26 when the suspect allegedly broke into Entergy’s lot situated at 1619 S. Burnside Ave. The suspect managed to steal multiple spools of wire and equipment before making a getaway in one of the marked trucks. This audacious act not only involved theft but also the hijacking of a vehicle, posing a significant concern for both Entergy and the local community.

The GPD’s investigation reveals that the same suspect employed the stolen Entergy truck the next morning, December 27, to carry out another theft. This time, the suspect targeted the Marathon fuel station at 2619 W. Hwy. 30, where they reportedly made off with 14 propane tanks. The stolen vehicle provided the suspect with an advantage, enabling them to execute the crime swiftly and undetected.
