Chennai witnessed a tragic series of road accidents resulting in the deaths of two engineering college students and a software engineer. The incidents occurred at Koyambedu and Maduravoyal on Thursday night and Friday morning.

Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Two College Students

J Madhesh, 20, and Vishal, 20, both students of a college in Thandalam, were riding their bike when they were involved in a fatal accident. While attempting to avoid colliding with a parked van, Madhesh lost control of the bike, causing both students to fall. Tragically, a truck traveling behind them ran over the two, resulting in their immediate demise.

Following the incident, the police arrested the drivers of the van and truck, identified as Paulraj, 58, and Ramasamy, 40.

Software Engineer Killed in Koyambedu Accident

In another devastating accident at Koyambedu, a software engineer lost his life after being hit by an omni bus. The victim, identified as Kalaiyarasan, 27, was employed as a techie at a firm in Ambathur. The fatal accident occurred when a bus collided with Kalaiyarasan’s bike from behind, leading to his immediate death.

These tragic incidents have left the Chennai community mourning the loss of these young individuals. The police are actively investigating the accidents to determine the exact causes and hold the responsible parties accountable.
