Gwalior Student Found Dead in Field, Police Suspects Murder

Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh – A grim discovery was made on Saturday when the lifeless body of a student was found lying in a field near a highway under the Maharajpur police station area in Gwalior. The police suspect foul play as marks of strangulation were found on the victim’s neck. The deceased, identified as Upendra Yadav, was a resident of Bhind district and was actively preparing for competitive exams.

The authorities wasted no time and promptly registered a First Information Report (FIR) to initiate a thorough investigation into the tragic incident. The location of the discovery was near the Behta outpost of the Maharajpur police station area.

Upon receiving information about the body, the Maharajpura police station immediately dispatched a team consisting of police officers, forensic experts, and senior officials to the scene. Upon inspection, it became apparent that Upendra Yadav had suffered head injuries in addition to the marks of strangulation on his neck. This leads the police to suspect that the student was murdered and then dumped in the field.

Following the necessary procedures, the police sent the victim’s body to the post-mortem house and notified his grieving family members. The family, having arrived at the post-mortem house, expressed their belief that Upendra Yadav had been deliberately killed. They also revealed a distressing past, sharing that the deceased student’s father had met a similar fate in Bhind several years ago.

Upendra Yadav had been residing in Gwalior for the past four to five years, dedicating his time to preparing for competitive exams. Alongside his two friends, he had even opened a library to support their collective academic pursuits.

The investigation into the suspicious death of Upendra Yadav is ongoing, with the police leaving no stone unturned to uncover the truth behind this tragic incident.
