Three Men Arrested in Connection with Mississauga Shooting

Three individuals have been apprehended in relation to a shooting incident that occurred in Mississauga last November, resulting in the injury of one man. Peel Regional Police have recently announced the arrests while providing an update on their ongoing investigation into the November 8th incident. The shooting took place in the vicinity of Matheson Boulevard and Creekbank Road.

According to authorities, an altercation transpired, leading to the victim being shot multiple times. Emergency services promptly transported him to a trauma center, where he is currently in stable condition, receiving medical treatment.

The incident prompted Peel Regional Police to launch Project Poseidon, an initiative aimed at identifying and locating all individuals involved in the shooting. As part of this project, investigators executed search warrants across the Greater Toronto Area.

During the execution of the search warrants, law enforcement officers successfully apprehended three suspects. In addition to the arrests, the police seized three firearms and a significant quantity of narcotics, underscoring the severity of the situation.

The suspects have been identified as 34-year-old Angelo Reid from Oshawa, 27-year-old Ralphord Shaw, and 35-year-old Anthony Jones, both of whom hail from Whitby. Reid and Jones are currently facing attempted murder charges. Furthermore, Reid, along with Shaw, is also facing several firearm-related charges.
