Who is Rena Chynoweth?

Rena Chynoweth was born into a Mormon fundamentalist family who converted to the Mexico-based Church of the Firstborn of the Fullness of Time when she was just three years old. The sect was initially led by Ervil’s elder brother Joel as the One Mighty and Strong, but after its collapse, Rena’s family decided to follow Ervil as the Prophet. Unfortunately, they soon discovered the dark side of their leader.

At the age of 16, Rena became Ervil’s 13th wife, one of many teenage girls he took advantage of. Rena initially resisted his advances but was ultimately coerced into acceptance by Ervil’s manipulation and threats of eternal damnation. She believed Ervil to be the true Prophet and agreed to marry him. Rena went on to have two children with Ervil, Erin LeBaron and Joihn Ryan LeBaron.
