Search Underway for Missing Elderly Man Last Heard From on January 4

Authorities are seeking public assistance in locating an elderly individual who went missing on January 4. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) reported that officers from the Turner Valley detachment responded to a call for help at approximately 11:20 p.m. that day. The call involved an elderly man who had fallen out of his truck.

The incident occurred near Highway 22, close to 466 Avenue West, in what the man described as a bush area near his residence. Despite extensive efforts, officers were unable to locate the elderly man, identified as 71-year-old Allan Bowman.

Described as having a fair complexion, Allan Bowman stands at 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 240 pounds. He has brown hair, although he is balding. Authorities believe that Bowman is accompanied by his grey 2012 Ford F-150, bearing the Alberta license plate BJD 922. The vehicle may be equipped with a bull bar on its front.

The RCMP has conducted extensive searches in the area, including grid road searches assisted by a Calgary Police Service helicopter and fire department drone operators. Unfortunately, these efforts have yet to yield any leads.
