Rocky Mountain House RCMP Believe Heavy Fog and Icy Roads Caused Fatal Clearwater County Collision

Poor road conditions near Condor on Friday are believed to have played a significant role in the tragic death of a 17-year-old resident from Clearwater County.

On the morning of January 5, the Rocky Mountain House RCMP received a distressing report of a serious multi-vehicle collision on Highway 11 and Range Road 45 in Clearwater County.

Upon arriving at the scene, investigators discovered the lifeless body of the 17-year-old Clearwater County resident inside one of the vehicles, as stated in a press release issued by the police on Friday night.

The authorities have now identified the deceased as a 17-year-old individual from Clearwater County.

Three other vehicles were involved in the collision, including a semi-truck, with occupants fortunately sustaining only minor injuries.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the deceased collided with an oncoming semi-truck, subsequently causing two other vehicles to collide with the out-of-control truck.
