The individuals responsible for the tragic homicide that took place at the Shoppes at Eastchase have now been identified.

According to information obtained by Action 8 News, the Montgomery police have charged 23-year-old Jaden Waters and 19-year-old Myeesha Townsend, both residents of Montgomery, with Capital Murder in connection with the shooting death of 21-year-old Larry Wright, Jr., who was also from Montgomery.

Authorities received a distress call just before 3:00 p.m. and immediately dispatched officers and fire medics to the 6800 block of Eastchase Parkway.

Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered the lifeless body of Larry Wright, Jr., who had succumbed to a gunshot wound.

It has been revealed that one of the alleged shooters, identified as Jaden Waters, sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound and was found at a local hospital. He was subsequently taken into custody. Myeesha Townsend was apprehended early Friday.

Investigators have determined that the motive behind the crime was of a domestic nature.

Both Jaden Waters and Myeesha Townsend are currently being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility without bond.
