In a devastating incident that unfolded on the first day of classes after the Christmas holidays, a school shooting in Iowa has resulted in the tragic death of a young child. The victim, a sixth-grade student at Perry High School, located approximately 40 miles away from the state capital Des Moines, was just 11 or 12 years old, according to preliminary information.
