Toddler Accident

In a heart-wrenching incident that marks the ninth such occurrence in less than a year, a devastating accident has claimed the life of a 19-month-old toddler in Habsiguda. The unfortunate incident took place when the child, identified as Jewel Anna Midhu, met with a fatal accident under the wheels of a school bus while waiting to bid farewell to her older brother, George Midhun, who is a student at Johnson Grammar School.

The tragic incident unfolded on Thursday morning as the family gathered for their routine send-off. Accompanied by her father and grandmother, Jewel Anna Midhu stepped out of their residence in Ravindra Nagar Colony around 8.15 am to see her brother off to school. However, tragedy struck swiftly as the innocent toddler strayed away in search of her father, who was engaged in a conversation with the bus driver.

According to authorities, the father was engrossed in discussing their upcoming trip to Kerala and notifying the driver that George would not require transportation for a few days when the child wandered unnoticed. In a heart-wrenching turn of events, she collided with the front tire of the bus and fell, subsequently going unnoticed by the driver as he started moving the vehicle. Tragically, she was caught under the rear tire, resulting in severe injuries that led to her untimely demise.
