Armed Robbery at Rocky Mount Motel Leads to Arrest of Two Suspects

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WNCN) — The Rocky Mount Police Department has successfully apprehended and charged a man and a woman in connection with an armed robbery that took place at a local motel during the early hours of Wednesday morning.

At approximately 3 a.m., law enforcement officers swiftly responded to a distress call originating from America’s Express Inn located at 307 Mosely Court. The victim, who was present in his room at the time of the incident, reported being robbed by two individuals who seized his personal belongings.

Following a thorough investigation, the authorities have identified the suspects as Christina Vinson, a 43-year-old woman, and Albert Bullock, a 32-year-old man.

According to the Rocky Mount Police Department, the victim and Vinson are acquainted with each other, suggesting that the robbery was not a random occurrence but rather a targeted crime.

Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries during the course of the robbery, ensuring his physical well-being.

Subsequently, both Vinson and Bullock were apprehended by law enforcement and now face charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony conspiracy to commit robbery. Additionally, Vinson has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, signaling potential further legal consequences.

Following their arrest, both suspects were promptly transferred to the Nash County jail, where they will remain in custody without the possibility of posting bond.
