Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection emphasizes the importance of fostering empathy among individuals as a crucial step towards preventing violence against women and children in society. Ratna Susianawati, the deputy for the protection of women’s rights at the ministry, expressed the need for empathy from families and communities in addressing this issue.

This call for empathy comes in response to a recent tragic incident in Malang city, East Java, where a woman was brutally murdered by her husband.
