Man Found Deceased Inside Delta Air Lines Plane Engine at Salt Lake City International Airport

A shocking incident unfolded at Salt Lake City International Airport, as a man was discovered deceased inside the engine of a Delta Air Lines aircraft bound for San Francisco.

The deceased individual has been identified as 30-year-old Kyler Efinger from Park City, the U.S., according to a report by the New York Post. Efinger, who was holding a boarding pass for Denver, caused a disturbance at the airport on the evening of January 1. He breached an emergency exit and ran onto the airfield, leaving airport officials baffled about his motivation, as reported by CBS News.

After Efinger’s personal belongings, including his clothes and shoes, were discovered on a runway, Salt Lake City police and airport personnel suspected that he might have been hiding beneath the Delta aircraft, which was in the process of de-icing. They immediately informed air traffic control to shut down the engines.

Unfortunately, Efinger was found unresponsive within the wing-mounted engine of the plane. It was determined that the engine’s fans were operational at the time of the tragic discovery.

Despite the efforts of first responders to save his life, Efinger was declared deceased at the scene.

Following the distressing incident, the plane returned to the gate, and all 95 passengers on board were rebooked on alternative flights to their respective destinations.

The case is currently under investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
