Los Angeles, CA – In a startling incident caught on camera, a man claiming to be famous is seen biting and kicking a police officer in the face during his arrest at a Wells Fargo branch in Eagle Rock. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon on December 5 at around 12:30 p.m.

According to the bank manager, who made the initial call, the suspect entered the bank and threatened him, stating that if he didn’t assist him immediately, he would “pick up a murder case.” Alarmed by the encounter, the bank manager promptly dialed emergency services, fearing for his safety.

Officers from the Northeast Division swiftly arrived at the scene and apprehended the suspect, identified as Forrest Perry, without incident. During the pat-down procedure, it was discovered that Perry was carrying a backpack and appeared to be wearing two pairs of pants. To the officers’ surprise, Perry then claimed to be a police officer himself, boasting about his alleged fame and vowing to get the uncooperative bank manager in trouble with his superiors.

As the officers continued their search, they found several papers, some of which Perry insisted were checks worth a staggering $4 million. This discovery raised suspicions about Perry’s true intentions and identity.

At one point, one of the officers left to speak with the bank manager, leaving Perry seated and engaged in conversation with the remaining officer. Approximately seven minutes later, Perry grew increasingly agitated. A heated argument ensued, during which Perry declared himself a black belt in karate and made inappropriate comments about the officer’s wife. Suddenly, while still handcuffed and seated, Perry lunged at the officer, sinking his teeth into the officer’s arm.

The shocking incident, captured on video, shows the officer struggling to free himself from Perry’s grip. In a desperate attempt to defend himself, the officer restrained Perry, leading to a Categorical Use of Force (CUOF) situation. The LAPD defines CUOF as any force option that involves applying direct pressure to a person’s trachea or windpipe.

After the altercation, Perry was escorted out of the bank and subsequently arrested. The 32-year-old now faces charges of criminal threats and battery on a police officer, filed against him by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office on December 7.

In response to the incident, the LAPD’s Force Investigation Division has initiated an inquiry to determine whether the use of force was justified. Fortunately, neither Perry nor any of the officers involved sustained significant injuries during the altercation.

As this shocking incident continues to send shockwaves through the community, many are left questioning the motives and mental state of the suspect. The video serves as a stark reminder of the dangers faced by law enforcement officers on a daily basis and the importance of staying vigilant in the face of potential threats.

Authorities are urging anyone with additional information about the incident to come forward and assist in their investigation..
