Gabriel Alexander Bruins, 22, of 3519 Forestdale Avenue in Woodbridge, has been charged with attempted malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Kalill Gary Gill, 20, of 3328 Wyndale Court in Woodbridge, has been charged with attempted malicious wounding, evidence tampering, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.”

According to the Prince William Police Department, the incident that led to the arrests occurred on July 20, 2023, in a parking lot on Potomac Mills Road. Responding to a shots fired call, officers discovered that a verbal altercation between a 22-year-old man and a female acquaintance had escalated. The woman contacted two male acquaintances, who arrived at the scene and confronted the victim. During the encounter, the two men retrieved firearms from their vehicle, and the victim fled on foot. The suspects pursued the victim and exchanged gunfire before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, no injuries or property damage were reported. Shell casings were found in the parking lot, indicating that the incident was not random. The investigation into the case is ongoing as the police continue their efforts to locate the suspects.
