Fordham Heights Man Fatally Stabbed in His Home
A Fordham Heights man was fatally stabbed inside of his home, according to authorities.

Tragic Incident in Fordham Heights
A 61-year-old man from Fordham Heights, located in the Bronx, was tragically stabbed to death in his own home during the early hours of Friday morning. The local authorities have reported the incident.
Prompt response from the authorities
At around 1:30 a.m. on January 5, the 46th Precinct Police received a distressing 911 call regarding an assault at 2415 Creston Ave. Officers immediately rushed to the scene and discovered the victim, identified as Tyrone Padilla, in the stairwell. Padilla had sustained multiple stab wounds to his neck and torso.
Efforts to save the victim
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) quickly arrived at the location and transported Padilla to Saint Barnabas Hospital. Despite their best efforts, Padilla was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Investigation underway
The Bronx Times has been informed by a police spokesperson that, at this time, there are no leads regarding potential suspects or a motive behind this horrifying incident. The investigation is currently ongoing.
