A Tragic Incident: Heated Argument Over Dog Poop Ends in Fatal Stabbing

In a shocking turn of events, a quarrel over dog feces took a deadly turn today, resulting in the tragic death of a 65-year-old man in Barangay San Pedro, Puerto Princesa City.

The victim has been identified as Cecillo Soriano Mozo, as confirmed by the local police authorities.

The incident unfolded at around 10:40 a.m. when Mozo and the suspect, identified as 42-year-old Reagan Ellema Arias, engaged in a heated dispute concerning the disposal of the canine waste.

Feeling the need to address the situation, Mozo promptly reported the altercation to the barangay authorities. Unbeknownst to him, Arias had other plans. Armed with a Swiss knife, Arias lay in wait for Mozo’s return to his residence.

Without warning, Arias launched a vicious attack on Mozo, ruthlessly stabbing him a total of eight times in the chest and back. Recognizing the severity of the situation, concerned individuals rushed Mozo to the Ospital ng Palawan in a desperate attempt to save his life. However, their efforts were in vain, as Dr. Michael T. Batongbakal pronounced him dead on arrival.

Authorities swiftly apprehended Arias at the scene of the crime, thanks to the quick response of the barangay tanods. As the investigation into this distressing incident unfolds, the community is left grappling with shock and grief.
