Oceanside Police Searching for Missing 15-Year-Old Boy

Authorities Seek Public’s Help in Locating Rudy Moya

Oceanside police are currently on the lookout for a 15-year-old boy who has been missing for over two weeks. The boy, identified as Rudy Moya by his family, was reported missing by his mother on December 17. According to the authorities, the last known sighting of Rudy was on Carmelo Drive, where he may have entered a gray Toyota Camry.

Rudy Moya is described as having dark hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighing around 165 pounds. The Oceanside Police Department has assigned an investigator to the case and is actively pursuing leads to locate the missing teenager.

Police spokesperson Tom Bussey emphasized that they are taking Rudy Moya’s disappearance seriously, stating, “It is not something we are ignoring. It is assigned to an investigator, and we have people working on it. They are actively pursuing this case. Hopefully, we will find him.”

The Oceanside Police Department has issued a news release, seeking assistance from the media and the public in locating Rudy Moya. The department has initiated an investigation, including efforts to track his phone, visiting friends’ houses, and entering his information into the Mission Person System. However, these measures have not yet yielded any leads.
