Mohave County Authorities Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Vehicle Involved in Fatal Hit-and-Run

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is urging the public to come forward with any information regarding a fatal hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of a Golden Valley man on Tuesday evening. The authorities are seeking help in locating the vehicle responsible for the tragic incident.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Chino Drive and Adobe Road at approximately 7:41 p.m. Dispatchers received a distress call reporting a male individual lying on the roadway. Upon arrival, deputies declared the victim, identified as 69-year-old James Douglas McDaniel from Golden Valley, deceased at the scene. The vehicle involved in the incident remains unidentified at this time.

As part of the investigation, the Mohave Silent Witness organization has offered a reward of up to $1,500 for any information leading to the identification of the vehicle and its driver. Authorities emphasize that the vehicle in question is likely to have significant front-end damage.
