Two Individuals killed in Tragic Vancouver Crash Identified by Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KPTV) – The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office has recently released the identities of two individuals who lost their lives in a devastating collision that occurred in Vancouver just last month.

The fatal crash, which took place on December 20th, shortly after 6 p.m., involved a car and a motorcycle. This tragic incident unfolded on Northeast 72nd Avenue, in close proximity to the intersection of Northeast 101st Street. Upon arrival at the scene, deputies discovered both the car driver and the motorcycle rider deceased.

According to the findings of the medical examiner, the motorcyclist has been identified as 21-year-old Conner Alan Springer, hailing from Battle Ground. The cause of Springer’s untimely demise has been attributed to severe blunt trauma inflicted on his head, neck, and torso. It is worth noting that Springer was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, as confirmed by the medical examiner’s report.

The driver of the car has been identified as 37-year-old Brenda Velasquez, a resident of Vancouver. Similar to Springer, Velasquez succumbed to blunt trauma affecting her head and torso, as determined by the medical examiner’s office.

As of now, authorities have not disclosed the exact cause of this tragic crash, leaving the circumstances leading up to the collision shrouded in mystery.
