Tragic Hunting Incident Claims Life of 18-Year-Old in Amelia, Virginia
Details of the Tragic Incident
Amelia, Virginia – In a devastating turn of events, an 18-year-old named Lilly Patman from Amelia Court House lost her life in a recent “hunting incident” as reported by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR). The incident took place on Eggelstetton Road at around noon on December 29, 2021.
Upon receiving the distress call, Conservation Police officers swiftly responded to the scene. They were met with the presence of Amelia County deputies and EMS crews who had arrived prior to their arrival.
