LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has recently made public a new body camera video capturing the tragic shooting incident at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). The footage, which spans over two hours, has been edited to blur most of the graphic content.

During our visit to the UNLV campus, we took a closer look at the location where this horrifying event unfolded, resulting in the loss of three lives.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has released a new body camera video of the deadly shooting at UNLV. (KLAS)

The released body camera footage reveals tense moments as police officers evacuate students and staff from UNLV’s Beam Hall, where the tragic incident took place. In the video, officers can be heard shouting, “Victims coming down!”

Blaring alarms and urgent commands fill the audio track as officers navigate through the building, rushing to the upper floors and clearing rooms in their search for the shooter.

The video captures the intensity of the situation as officers forcefully breach doors and even break through drywall, desperately searching for the gunman who had shot four professors, tragically claiming the lives of three of them.

In a chilling turn of events, gunshots can be heard in the video after officers declare the area “all clear.”
