The armed intruder forced the woman back into her home and then coerced her into getting into his vehicle. He then ordered her to drive to a neighboring residence. Once there, the woman was instructed to knock on the door, and when an adult male answered, the suspect pointed his gun at him.

According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect entered the neighbor’s house and threatened both the male and an adult female present. However, another male resident quickly became aware of the armed intruder and managed to fight him off, ultimately disarming him and restraining him until law enforcement arrived.

Thankfully, none of the victims involved in the incident sustained any injuries.

Hafford now faces a slew of charges, including Class A kidnapping, two counts of Class B burglary, Class C illegal possession of a firearm, three counts of Class C criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, two counts of Class D assault, and Class E violating conditions of release.
