Ambala Man Murdered on New Year’s Eve, Four Booked for the Crime

Ambala: A 46-year-old man was brutally murdered on the first night of the New Year in the Mahesh Nagar area of Ambala Cantonment on Monday. The victim, Sanjay Rana, a resident of Boh in Mahesh Nagar, was attacked with sharp-edged weapons in what appears to be a result of an old rivalry. The police have registered a case against four individuals for his murder.

Following a complaint filed by Sanjay’s brother, Praveen Kumar, the police have registered a case under Sections 34 (common intention) and 302 (punishment for murder) of the Indian Penal Code against the four accused – Gaurav, Rahul, Atul, and Ishan on Tuesday.

Praveen Kumar stated that he received information about the attack at 8:35 pm on Monday. Upon reaching the scene, he found his brother lying in a pool of blood on the road. The police are currently conducting raids to apprehend the accused, and investigations are underway.

The search is ongoing to capture the remaining fugitive. The deceased, who was involved in the catering business, sustained 14 stab wounds to his head, waist, back, and abdomen.

Man held for rape, murder of 4-year-old girl in Gujarat

A 35-year-old man has been arrested for the brutal rape and murder of a four-year-old girl in Dhansura taluka of Aravalli district. The accused was apprehended by villagers and handed over to the police. The girl’s body was discovered in the house of the accused, with her hands and legs bound. The man lured the girl into his house, raped her, and then strangled her. The villagers caught the accused, and he is currently being questioned by the police.
