Suspect Gives Fake Name and Flees from Officer

MONDOVI, Wis. (WEAU) – An incident in Mondovi on Wednesday morning led to the arrest of a 35-year-old woman, Racquel Krueger, who now faces multiple charges, including possession of methamphetamine. The suspect attempted to evade law enforcement authorities by providing a false identity and fleeing the scene.

Tense Moments Unfold in Parking Lot Encounter

At approximately 8:31 a.m. on January 3rd, an officer attempted to make contact with Krueger in a parking lot. Sensing the presence of law enforcement, she quickly resorted to deception and provided a fake name. In a bid to evade arrest, she then made a hasty escape on foot.

Charges Recommended by Authorities

As a consequence of her actions, Krueger will face charges of resisting and obstructing an officer, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation. These charges will be presented to the Buffalo County District Attorney for further legal proceedings.

Department of Corrections Supervision and Active Warrant

During the incident, it was revealed that Krueger was under the supervision of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Furthermore, an active warrant had been issued for her arrest due to probation violations.
