Man Arrested for Fatal Shooting in New Orleans

New Orleans, Louisiana – In a tragic incident, 35-year-old Melvin Alberto Rodriguez Manueles was fatally shot in the 2600 block of First Street. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) has identified the alleged perpetrator as Gamboa-Escobar.

Following the identification of Gamboa-Escobar as the suspect, an arrest warrant was obtained. The U.S. Marshals New Orleans Task Force successfully apprehended him, and he has been booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center.

Gamboa-Escobar is now facing charges of second-degree murder in connection with the shooting.
