“22-year-old man found murdered with deep cuts on neck and chest in Jaipur: Victim identified as Mohammad Owasi”

Jaipur: A 22-year-old man was discovered brutally murdered with deep cuts on his neck and chest near Manpur Sadwa in the Jaisinghpura Khor police station area of Jaipur on Tuesday. The victim, identified as Mohammad Owasi, hailed from Pillibhit in Uttar Pradesh and worked as a seamster in the Ramganj area of the city.

According to ACP (Amber) Aditya Poonia, the victim left his room on Monday afternoon and his whereabouts were unknown thereafter. However, on Tuesday afternoon, his lifeless body was found behind a mazar (tomb).

The Jaisinghpura Khor police station received information about the body lying behind the mazar in Manpur Sadwa around noon. In response, a team was dispatched to the scene to investigate the incident. A thorough examination of the crime scene was conducted.

To gather evidence, the police brought in the dog squad and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) teams. Subsequently, the victim’s body was transferred to the mortuary of SMS Hospital for post-mortem examination. The police stated that the body would be handed over to the family after the medical board completes the autopsy. An official mentioned that the victim’s body had multiple wounds, indicating that his death was the result of a murder. However, the official added that they are awaiting the post-mortem report for further confirmation.

In their efforts to uncover the truth, the police have contacted local acquaintances of the victim. Additionally, the initial investigation suggests that the victim was attacked with a sharp object, leading to his untimely demise.
