Man Fatally Shot in Northeast Portland on New Year’s Eve Identified

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – The Portland Police Bureau has identified the man who tragically lost his life in a shooting incident that occurred in northeast Portland on New Year’s Eve.

Authorities have confirmed that the victim has been identified as 21-year-old Skyler Stuckey, a resident of Albany.

According to the Portland Police, the incident took place on Sunday evening at around 8 p.m. in the 1100 block of Northeast Faloma Road. Upon receiving reports of a shooting, officers promptly responded to the scene.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered Skyler Stuckey and an 18-year-old individual, who remains unnamed, with gunshot wounds. Both victims were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Sadly, Skyler Stuckey succumbed to his injuries, while the 18-year-old is currently undergoing treatment for serious wounds. However, the Portland Police state that the injured teenager is expected to survive.

The Portland Police Bureau expressed their sadness on Wednesday, revealing that no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting incident. However, their preliminary investigation suggests that there is no ongoing threat to the safety of the general public.
