“Retired ASI Babulal Kumar Found Dead near Nemawar Bridge in Indore: Police”

Indore, UK: A 60-year-old retired assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of police was discovered deceased near the Nemawar bridge in the Azad Nagar area on Sunday night. The body of Babulal Kumar, who had recently retired from the police training center, was found alongside his two-wheeler. The incident caused panic among commuters who gathered to witness the scene.

The local authorities were alerted to the body by concerned commuters who then contacted the Khudel police station. Upon arrival, the police immediately searched the area for any identification and made the photos of the deceased viral on social media platforms.

“The family members were informed and rushed to the scene. The deceased was then taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead,” stated Deepak Khatri, the in-charge of Khudel police station.

An investigation into the cause of death was launched by the police. However, it was later determined that the deceased had passed away due to a cardiac arrest, as there were no visible signs of injury on the body.

The Azad Nagar police station recorded the incident and subsequently handed over the body to the family members after a post-mortem examination was conducted. Babulal Kumar had retired from the police force in June this year and is survived by his son and daughter. Originally from Chhindwara, he had been residing in his Indore house since retirement. Notably, his brother had also recently retired from the police department.
