Hartford Police Investigate Shooting Incident Leaving Two Men Hospitalized

HARTFORD, Conn. – In an unfortunate incident, Hartford police are currently conducting an investigation into a shooting that occurred on Tuesday morning, resulting in two men being hospitalized.

The incident was reported around 12:42 a.m. when the ShotSpotter notification alerted the authorities about multiple gunshots fired in the vicinity of 363 Franklin Avenue. Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement officials discovered a vehicle that had crashed into the porch at 394 Franklin Ave.

The driver, described as a man in his 20s, was found to have sustained gunshot wounds, and he was immediately transported to a local hospital. Presently, he remains in critical condition, fighting for his life.

During the course of their investigation, the police were informed by another nearby hospital that a 19-year-old man had arrived with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. It was subsequently determined that the second victim was also injured during the same incident on Franklin Avenue.
