Arrest Made in Ludhiana Mobile Snatching Case

Ludhiana’s Sadar police have successfully apprehended two snatchers who had targeted a 38-year-old woman in the Basant Avenue area. The incident occurred on Thursday when the woman was threatened and her mobile phone was snatched.

The police acted swiftly and managed to seize a total of six snatched mobile phones, along with a sharp-edged weapon, from the accused individuals.

The two arrested individuals have been identified as Harmandeep Singh and Veerpal Singh, both residents of Dhandra village.

The victim, Gurpreet Kaur, reported that she was standing outside her house and engaged in a phone conversation when a motorcycle stopped nearby. One of the accused approached her, brandishing a sharp-edged weapon, and forcibly took her mobile phone.

Following the victim’s complaint, the Sadar police swiftly traced the accused individuals and successfully arrested them.
