The victim, 21-year-old Leondre Flynt, was last seen on July 29 when surveillance video captured him leaving his home with a change of clothes and a bag over his shoulder. His GMC Canyon truck was later traced to Detroit, Michigan, but authorities have yet to locate it.

One of the women involved in the case, 20-year-old Destiny Stephens, was arrested in October after being spotted on video getting out of Flynt’s vehicle at a Lowe’s store near the Little 5 Points neighborhood. She purchased a handsaw and bolt cutters, raising suspicions about her involvement in the crime. Stephens has been charged with murder and concealing the death of another. She was released on a $150,000 bond with the condition that she have no contact with Flynt’s family.

The surveillance footage also revealed the presence of another woman in the vehicle, identified as 21-year-old Audrey Zalky. She was apprehended this week in Carroll County and is facing charges of murder and concealing the death of another.

Flynt’s family cooperated with investigators by granting access to his iCloud account and phone records. They discovered that Flynt had been communicating with Zalky prior to his disappearance. On the day he went missing, Flynt used his phone’s GPS to travel to an apartment complex in the upscale Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. Coincidentally, there was a report of shots fired at the same apartment complex on that day. According to a resident, a woman accidentally discharged a firearm inside one of the units.

Later on, surveillance footage captured an unidentified man moving large items on a furniture dolly from the direction of the apartment towards the elevators. Investigators found evidence linking Stephens to the area of the apartment complex where the shots were fired, as well as to the Lowe’s store where she and Zalky were seen in possession of Flynt’s truck.

Flynt’s truck was eventually located at a CVS drugstore in Detroit using OnStar technology. The store is approximately a 20-minute drive from an address associated with Ahmir Bobo, a person of interest in the case. Detroit police conducted a search but did not find the vehicle.

Several weeks later, maintenance workers at the Buckhead apartment complex reported finding blood on the fourth floor. Law enforcement responded to the call and discovered dark, reddish stains on a railing overlooking the alley where dumpsters are located. They also found a blood trail leading into the parking garage, which ended at a specific parking stall. A search warrant executed in Bobo’s apartment revealed the presence of a furniture dolly and an air mattress similar to those seen in the surveillance video. Additionally, investigators discovered evidence of blood inside the apartment and two gun boxes.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for Zalky’s Instagram account and reached out to a friend who had been communicating with her around the time Flynt went missing. The friend shared messages in which Zalky claimed to have been attacked inside her apartment and mentioned that she had killed the assailant.

While the details surrounding Flynt’s death and the identities of those responsible are still under investigation, authorities believe that both women and Bobo were involved in the crime. Bobo, however, remains at large.

This tragic case serves as a reminder of the potential dangers associated with online interactions and the importance of personal safety. The investigation into Flynt’s death continues as law enforcement works diligently to uncover the truth and bring those responsible to justice.
