65-Year-Old Woman Allegedly Stabbed to Death in Ranhola

New Delhi: A 65-year-old woman was tragically found dead in a plot near her house in Ranhola on Saturday morning. The police suspect her husband, a former army personnel turned godman, to be the prime suspect in the murder case.

The deceased, identified as Beermati (65), reportedly went to a nearby plot around 5am on Saturday. Her daughter-in-law, Asha, discovered her lifeless body at around 5.30am. According to the police, during the investigation, it was revealed that Beermati had an ongoing property dispute with her husband, Ishwar (70), who had retired from the army and become a ‘baba’.

Jimmy Chiram, DCP (Outer), stated, “The crime and FSL teams were called to the scene, and efforts are being made to identify the accused. Beermati had three daughters and a son, Devender, who is 47 years old. Ishwar, the father, had separated and was living elsewhere with his youngest daughter, Pramila.”

A murder case has been registered, and the police have formed special teams to apprehend the accused. The investigation is ongoing.
