The Hyundai Getz and the white Isuzu tow truck were both traveling north on Forrest Hwy at around 7:20 pm when the accident happened.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, the driver of the Hyundai Getz succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.
Fortunately, the male driver of the tow truck emerged from the collision unharmed.
