Tragic Incident: 22-Year-Old Man Dies of Heart Attack During Cricket Match in Madhya Pradesh

KHARGONE: A cricket match in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh turned tragic when a 22-year-old man, Indal Singh Jadhav Banjara, suffered a fatal heart attack on Saturday evening. The incident occurred at Katkoot village under Balwada police station limits, according to an official.

Banjara was playing as a bowler when he suddenly encountered the heart attack. He was immediately rushed to Badwah Civil Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival, as confirmed by Dr. Vikas Talware from the hospital.

The cause of Banjara’s death was identified as a heart attack after the post-mortem examination. His body was then handed over to his grieving family, mentioned Dr. Talware.

According to witnesses who accompanied Banjara to the hospital, he complained of chest pain during the match. Dr. Talware shared that Banjara played for the Barkhad Tanda village team, which had scored 70 runs while batting first. It was during the team’s turn to bowl that Banjara expressed discomfort in his chest and decided to rest under a tree.

After their victory, Banjara asked his teammates to take him to a nearby hospital. However, despite being referred to Badwah Civil Hospital, he tragically passed away on the way, as informed by Shaligram Gurjar, a local villager.

This unfortunate incident has left the cricket community shocked and saddened. Banjara’s untimely demise serves as a reminder of the importance of regular health check-ups and the need to prioritize one’s well-being.
