A shocking incident unfolded in Miramonte, Fresno County, where a 14-year-old boy has been taken into custody for allegedly murdering his parents and injuring his younger sister. According to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, the boy initially reported a home invasion to 911 dispatchers, claiming that an intruder had broken into their residence on Dunlap Road.

Authorities responded swiftly to the call, but tragically, both parents were found dead upon their arrival. The suspect’s 11-year-old sister was rushed to the hospital for surgery, and fortunately, she is expected to survive. Another child present in the home remained unharmed.

However, as investigators delved deeper into the case, they discovered inconsistencies in the boy’s account. Eventually, evidence pointed towards the 14-year-old as the perpetrator, suggesting that he had fabricated the story of a break-in and used multiple weapons to attack his family members.

The minor, whose identity has been withheld due to his age, has since been transported to a Fresno County juvenile hall. He now faces two charges of murder and one charge of attempted murder. The victims have been identified as Lue and Se Vang, both 37 years old. As the investigation continues, authorities are working to determine the motive behind this tragic incident.

Fresno County Sheriff John Zanoni expressed his sorrow, stating, “Two children have lost their mother and father due to the actions of their own sibling.” Zanoni also confirmed that there had been no prior police calls from the Vang family home.
