Physiotherapist Brutally Stabs Wife 18 Times in Lucknow Over Extramarital Affair

New Delhi, December 30: A shocking incident occurred in Lucknow, leaving the residents in a state of disbelief. A physiotherapist stabbed his wife brutally 18 times with a kitchen knife, allegedly due to her involvement in an extramarital affair. The horrific incident unfolded in their residence, sending shockwaves through the local community.

The accused, identified as a physiotherapist named Imran, had been suspecting his wife’s fidelity for some time. Unable to cope with his emotions, he resorted to a gruesome act of violence. The victim, whose identity has been withheld, suffered multiple stab wounds, leading to her untimely demise.

Local authorities were alerted about the horrifying crime when a distressed neighbor made an emergency call to the police control room. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the lifeless body of the victim and a blood-stained kitchen knife near the crime scene.

The deceased, known as Mahir, hailed from Loni in Ghaziabad. During the initial investigation, it was revealed that a 21-year-old woman was the common acquaintance between Imran and the accused. This woman had befriended both men on Instagram, leading to a complicated web of jealousy and betrayal.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Northeast, Joy Tirkey, stated, “On the day of the incident, when Mahir went to the girl’s house, he found her engaged in a video call with Imran. Overcome with jealousy, Mahir confronted Imran and unleashed a barrage of verbal abuse.”

As tensions escalated, Imran took the drastic step of confiscating the girl’s phone to prevent her from communicating with Mahir. Exploiting this opportunity, Imran lured Mahir to his location under the false pretense of returning the confiscated phone. However, Imran, along with two accomplices named Arman and Faisal, ambushed Mahir upon his arrival.

The three assailants attacked Mahir with extreme brutality, repeatedly stabbing him until he succumbed to his injuries. The trio fled the scene, leaving behind a gruesome reminder of the horrifying crime they had committed.

The police investigation into the incident is ongoing, with authorities working tirelessly to bring the perpetrators to justice. The local community remains in shock as they mourn the loss of a young life and grapple with the senseless act of violence that has shattered their peace.
