Two Milwaukee Men Charged in Brutal Christmas Assault and Robbery
MILWAUKEE – Two individuals from Milwaukee, Kory Harrison and Johnny Morales, are now facing charges in connection with a violent assault and robbery that occurred on Christmas Day.

According to a criminal complaint, the incident took place in the vicinity of 13th and Lincoln on the south side of the city. The victim, a 67-year-old man, reported being assaulted by two unknown assailants. He was subsequently hospitalized and treated for orbital fractures and other injuries, with the potential risk of losing vision in one eye.

The assault was captured on surveillance video, revealing the horrifying sequence of events. The footage showed Kory Harrison shoving the victim to the ground and brutally stomping on him while he lay unconscious and bleeding. Meanwhile, Johnny Morales, the other individual involved, allegedly ransacked the victim’s pockets before leaving the scene. This entire incident unfolded over a span of approximately three minutes.
Subsequently, law enforcement authorities were able to recover the victim’s social security card, debit cards, health care card, and driver’s license from Kory Harrison, further solidifying their case against him.
On December 27, Harrison was interviewed by the police. During the interview, he confessed to being the individual seen in the surveillance footage and admitted to assaulting the victim due to a perceived debt. He also acknowledged going through the victim’s pockets while he was unconscious. Harrison expressed remorse, stating that he did not intend for the assault to escalate to such a severe level and that he simply lost control.

Kory Harrison appeared in court for his initial hearing on December 30, and a cash bond of $75,000 was set for him. He is now facing multiple charges, including first-degree reckless injury, robbery (use of force), physical abuse of an elder, escape from custody (custody for crime), and criminal damage to property.
Johnny Morales, on the other hand, is charged solely with robbery (use of force). His cash bond was set at $20,000 during his court appearance on the same day.
