Man Fatally Shot in Northeast D.C., Suspect Still at Large
A tragic incident occurred on Thursday night in Northeast D.C. when a man was shot and killed. The victim has been identified as 51-year-old Freddie Lee Crawford. The local police department is actively searching for the shooter.

At approximately 11:45 p.m., the D.C. police received reports of a shooting in the 300 block of 17th Street. Responding officers found Crawford inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, Crawford succumbed to his injuries and tragically passed away at the scene.
The motive behind the shooting remains unknown, and the police are urging anyone with information to come forward. In an effort to apprehend the suspect, the D.C. Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator.
