Missing Man Identified as Donald Hewitt, Jr.

A distraught Jackson family is desperately pleading with the police for any information regarding the disappearance of their beloved family member, Donald Hewitt Jr. The concerned mother, Melody Vaughn, organized a rally on Friday to demand answers from the Jackson Police Department about her son’s case. Vaughn alleges that Hewitt has been missing since June 13, 2022. The last known sighting of Hewitt was on Pine Point Drive. Despite reaching out to the Jackson police chief, Jackson Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba, and other investigators, Vaughn has not received any callbacks or updates on the investigation. Overwhelmed with emotions, Vaughn expressed, “He’s my son, and I miss him. It would bring me immense relief if you could locate him or provide any information that could help us find him.”

Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade has assured the family that he intends to meet with them soon to discuss the ongoing investigation and provide them with updates.

Overwhelmed with emotions, Vaughn tearfully expressed, “He’s my son, and I miss him. It would bring me immense relief if you could locate him or provide any information that could help us find him.”

Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade has assured the family that he recognizes the urgency of the situation and intends to meet with them soon to provide support and discuss the ongoing investigation in greater detail.
