Woman Wanted for Shooting Friend Over Fentanyl Pills in Woodbridge, Virginia

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Authorities in Virginia are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a woman who allegedly shot her friend during a dispute over fentanyl pills. The incident took place on Thursday in a wooded area on Easy Street in Woodbridge, prompting a police investigation.

The victim, identified as 51-year-old Patricia Kathlean Beglin, was found lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to her upper body. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives investigating the case have since uncovered a potential motive, linking the shooting to an earlier argument over fentanyl pills. The alleged shooter has been identified as 37-year-old Karen Nicole Pollard, an acquaintance of the victim.

Despite efforts to locate Pollard, she remains at large. Authorities have described her as a 5-foot-2 woman weighing approximately 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
