Ibeshe Beach

In a heartbreaking turn of events, a fun-filled day at Ibeshe Beach in the Amuwo-Odofin area of Lagos State turned into a tragedy when two siblings lost their lives while swimming. The victims, identified as 26-year-old Femi Adegboyega and 23-year-old Ibukun Adegboyega, drowned on Christmas Day at approximately 6:00 pm.

The Adegboyega siblings, who resided in the FESTAC Town area of Lagos State, were enjoying a swim with their friends before the unfortunate incident occurred. Eyewitnesses at the scene expressed their deep condolences to the grieving parents of the deceased.

Seun, an eyewitness who had been with the victims moments before the tragedy, shared his account of the incident. He expressed disbelief and confusion, stating, “We were swimming together on the beach. I still can’t comprehend how it happened because we were all together, and suddenly they both drowned.
