Police Investigate “Deadly Incident of Domestic Violence” in Wealthy Massachusetts Town

DOVER, Mass. (AP) — Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the tragic deaths of a couple and their teenage daughter in the affluent town of Dover, Massachusetts. The incident is believed to be a “deadly incident of domestic violence,” according to the local police.

Responding to a 911 call made by a concerned relative, the Dover police discovered the lifeless bodies of an adult male, an adult female, and their teenage daughter at their residence on Wilson’s Way at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The individuals have been identified as Teena Kamal, aged 54, Rakesh Kamal, aged 57, and their daughter Ariana Kamal, an 18-year-old student at Middlebury College. Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey provided this information during a press conference held on Friday.

Although a gun was found near Rakesh Kamal’s body, the exact cause and manner of the deaths are yet to be determined, pending further investigation by the medical examiner’s office.

Authorities have stated that there is no immediate threat to the Dover community in relation to these deaths. “Although the investigation is at a very preliminary stage, the evidence available at this time does not indicate the involvement of any outside party, but suggests that this is a deadly incident of domestic violence,” stated the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office in a released statement.
