Colorado Police Seek Mother of Three Children Following Tragic Incident in Apartment

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV/Gray News) – Authorities in Colorado are urgently searching for the mother of three children after a devastating incident in an apartment that resulted in the death of two children and left another injured last week.

According to a report by KKTV, law enforcement received an emergency call just before 12:30 a.m. reporting a burglary at an apartment complex on Palomino Ranch Point near Tutt and Stetson Hills on December 19.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered the lifeless bodies of a 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy. Additionally, an 11-year-old girl and an adult woman were found injured.

The adult woman, identified as 35-year-old Kimberlee Singler, is the mother of all three children residing in the apartment.

Following further investigation, authorities established probable cause and obtained an arrest warrant for Kimberlee Singler on charges of Murder in the First Degree, child abuse, and assault on Tuesday.

Police have since revealed that the initial report of a burglary was determined to be false.

A court has set a substantial bond of $10 million in relation to the case.

As of now, Kimberlee Singler has been missing since Saturday, and her current whereabouts remain unknown to law enforcement.

Authorities have confirmed that the 11-year-old girl is not with Singler and is currently in a safe and accounted-for condition.
